Change Communications Specialist - Global Oil Energy Co.

Rate: Excellent/Dependent on Experience

World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a Change Communications Specialist to drive and support Global Functions' Strategic coms within the function and the company's IT strategy. This role will report to a Transformational Change Manager, is delivery focused and will lead IT-driven business change. This position is based in The Hague, Netherlands.

The primary purpose of the role is to:

  • Define communication plan for Global Functions
  • Develop and deploy communication interventions and wider transformational change initiatives
  • Support the Transformational Change Manager in communication and/or related change deliverables

About the Role:

  • Work as a Communication Specialist on a project to:
  • Develop and execute the communication plan
  • Build and manage communication deliverables and activities to a business-ready standard
  • Create, format and review internal and external communication (including for example newsletters, webcasts webinars, handouts, posters, PowerPoint presentations, videos, photos, etc)
  • Help organize, plan, create content and deliver events and initiatives
  • Drive and gain necessary approvals for all communication
  • Able to successfully communicate strategies/messages to relevant stakeholder groups
  • Ensure that the appropriate communication tools and methods are applied to IT projects
  • Partner with other parts of the organisation (IC, OD, Learning) to deliver high quality communication & change management interventions

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Communication Specialist
  • Understanding of change management for IT solutions
  • Ability to produce high quality business-facing communication deliverables and activities to drive and sustain change
  • Experience with newsletter creation, story writing, photos and video creation and editing. Strong editing/formatting skills (especially in PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of Office 365 (including SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint), photo and video-editing software (preferred)
  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities
  • Proven track record of building strong stakeholder relationships at different organisational levels

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
