My Manchester based client is looking to recruit a Corporate Communications Officer. Please go through with the job description below and apply now if you are interested.

Role: Corporate Communications Officer

Location: Salford Manchester

Duration: 3-6 months contract initially

Rate: £21.76 per hour inside IR35

Experience of producing copy across all media

  • Experience of promoting social media eg Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Wikipedia
  • 3 years minimum experience as a Corporate Communications officer either within the public sector, or a medium to large enterprise
  • Flare for writing concise, compelling copy
  • Basic/Intermediate [Officer] or Intermediate/Advanced [Manager] user of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office software including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project
  • Production of AV media utilising a number of software applications Captiv8 as an example
  • Video production

knowledge and Experience

  • Experience of website CMS
  • Experience and knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
  • Experience of producing press releases, articles, newsletters or presentations
  • Experience working in customer relations
  • Knowledge/Experience of communications
  • Experience of print and agency management
  • Knowledge and experience of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, InDesign (or similar design software).
  • Ability to effectively use video cameras and edit subsequent footage
  • E-mail marketing experience
  • Use of Google Analytics or other website tracking systems
  • Experience of Photo database management
  • Belief in and commitment to self-development

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to communicate effectively with different audiences
