Technical Writer vacancy requiring profound Jdeveloper knowledge for a globally operating Zurich based company.Your experience/skills:
- 3+ years' experience with technical documentation including researching and writing efficient documentation such as architectural overviews and programming guides for developers
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills along with a good sense of design
- Expertise in comprehending technical concepts and communicate them to technical audiences
- Profound ability to document source code written in Java, JavaScript or Objective in well-organised docs
- Capability to read code and to use developer tools as well as version control systems in close collaboration with engineers
- Bachelor Degree in relevant field of study
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Helping to improve developer documentation and education, with a focus on organisation, findability and engineering velocity
- Creating clear and concise educational material for time pressured developers
- Writing, managing and editing docs for engineering teams and encouraging active contribution from engineers
- Ensuring that the content fulfils the specific needs of engineers regarding domain ramp-ups, data migrations and launch calendars
