Description
We are currently looking for an Interface Designer / Usability Engineer m/f/t for our client in the Ruhr area for the upcoming start date.Project background:
Development of a generic design system for web applications including an angular component library based on material design
Successful application and expansion of the design system to a concrete angular web project
Responsibilities:
Interact closely with business to understand new requirements, evaluate options and implement solutions
Communicate progress transparent to stakeholders, end users and to the team
Contribute to building quality design by using your knowledge to implement great-looking and highly intuitive interfaces
Keep up to date with the trends in design and quickly adapt to them to achieve
better results
Skills:
Extensive interface design experience, gained while building bigger web interface projects
Extensive knowledge in the following subjects is necessary:
Interface design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, Illustrator or Photoshop
Visual design
Corporate design guidelines
Layouts, Styles, Theming
Data visualization, data types, chart types
Extensive usability engineering experience
Extensive knowledge in the following subjects is necessary
User centered design, agile ux
Requirements engineering, human computer interaction
Usability tests / evaluation, user experience design, context interviews
Interviews, personas and reviews
Nice to have knowledge
Little developer and component library experience
Design systems (google material)
Energy market know how
Fluent in English written and spoken
Strong communication and team working skills with additional ability to translate IT language
into an understandable way to the business in both writing and verbally
Very high motivation
