Salary/Rate: £500 - £590 per day (Inside IR35)

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading clients! They are currently looking for a skilled UI Designer/Visual Designer to join their team for a six-month contract.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
- We are looking for several Senior Visual Designers to join our multi-disciplinary team, to work on professional financial & risk platforms, products and services across the web, desktop and mobile.
- Work alongside a Design Principal and other members of their design squad, following lean and agile product design methodologies.
- Build design material in the form of both sketched concepts to pixel-perfect designs at all stages of the product life cycle (discovery, define and build) and demonstrate planning for activities to ensure delivery.
- Use and contribute to Halo, our Design System.
- Develop a deep understanding of our users, their needs, behaviours, desires, and bring that insight into the heart of all designs.
- Work on issues of a diverse scope where analysis of situations requires skills and understanding of current industry trends.
- Lead significant projects, programs and business initiatives, demonstrating creativity and ingenuity.
- Determine work priorities based on general direction from managers.
- Provide specialist advice to middle and senior management to resolve complex issues.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role and showing how the brand affects the approach to product design.
- Passion for a clean and purposeful design.
- The ability to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows, artefacts and ultimately into beautiful, intuitive and functional user interfaces and designs.
- Comfortable embracing our Halo design system in everything you do, both using and contributing to its evolution and ideally having experience designing or defining design systems.
- Robust design, collaboration and communication skills with evidence of leadership as a senior designer and contribute at a team level.
