UX Writer

(it's no role inside Switzerland)

Experis Switzerland is looking for an experienced UX witer. Our client is a boutique consultancy company who is responsible for a banking client in the UK. It is a 100% remote temporary assignment, with a potential extension.

Project description:

Responsible for UX writing across digital journeys, you'll work alongside UX/UI designers and project stakeholders to create and edit content that helps our users to easily navigate and understand our services.

You'll create compelling, pleasing and comprehensible content for user experiences across a range of products, platforms and devices.

Your profile:

  • Demonstrate a good understanding of UX principles and apply these to the content design process
  • Delivery of high quality and effective content for use in a variety of digital applications
  • Effective writing and editing skills
  • Implement our content principles and tone of voice to ensure our writing is consistent across all touchpoints
  • Use research and analytical thinking to inform content
  • Able to back up proposed content with the reasoning and logic
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly spelling and grammar
  • Good communication and collaboration skills with an ability to influence stakeholders
  • Experience of Agile delivery methods and teams
  • Ability to deliver against tight deadlines and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Preferably a background in a banking environment
  • Excellent English skills

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborates with product owners/managers, internal business stakeholders, operational teams, technology specialists and designers to define content requirements and strategy that best achieve business goals
  • Provides written content related leadership within project teams to ensure content strategies and approaches meet business objectives and align with user needs
  • Writes and edits digital content that meets business/project goals and end user needs
  • Develops and utilises clear, consistent nomenclature for tools and applications in collaboration with other UX writers and design colleagues
  • Works with other teams as needed to ensure the content strategy is effectively implemented across channels
  • Ensures written content complies with corporate brand standards, web style guides and tone of voice guidelines
  • Participate in content and application audits including gauging the usability of new and existing products and making constructive suggestions for change
  • Partners with other writers within the organisation to leverage and share ideas and make recommendations that apply broadly across multiple channels
  • Reviews analytics and other sources of feedback to understand user behaviour to manage and shape content and messaging strategies
  • Evaluates the usability of new and existing products from a content perspective, participating in user research activities and making constructive suggestions for change
  • Participates in sprint/iteration planning, refinement, retrospectives/iteration reviews and other sessions as necessary
  • Contributes to an open collaborative environment by building and maintaining deep relationships with project stakeholders, creating an environment where all parties can be open and transparent about what they value, want and need
