Role: Senior Digital Designer
Location: Remote (occasional visits to London)
IR35: Inside
Rate: £600day (umbrella)
Duration: 6 months

The Role:
- Responsibility for a team of Web Designers, producing strategies and direction.
- Disseminating expertise of how design decisions impact accessibility both internally and externally.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplined team to design user focussed and successful services.
- Deliver designs that meet web standards, ensuring that key elements are built in from the outset.
- Contributing to the development and continual enhancement of products.
- Partnering with colleagues to facilitate a consistent user experience.
- Building relationships and work effectively with external providers, for example user testing and user experience professionals.
- Communicating credibly with a wide range of digital delivery disciplines and talent both internally and externally.
Technologies/systems used:
- Murial, MS Office, TEAMS
Experience Required:
Essential
- Proven industry experience of service design and applying that to real-world applications
- Experienced in redesigning existing services and able to demonstrate how a service met users' needs.
- Experience of working effectively with cross-disciplinary teams including close collaboration with user research, content design and product
- Experience in making complex things simple for users by distilling complex data and information into simple and understandable forms
- Able to cope in complex environments, and deal with challenging situations
Desirable
- Experience of working in an agile development process
- Experience with designing for users with low digital skills" and/or "designing for users with range of physical and cognitive impairments"
- Experience of contributing to design systems . For example, producing self- service systems for non-Designers, using common patterns, components and elements.
- Experience with using prototypes to explore solutions and facilitate requirements
