PR Officer/Public Sector/Government Organisation/Flexible working (Remote or office based)/up to £170 per day
Roc Search is currently recruiting for an experienced PR Officer for a Government organisation in Merseyside, to play a key role in delivering their corporate PR Plan. This is for an initial period of 6 months with a view to be extended. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Communicator to develop their own career and skills in a role that involves a wide variety of work.
You will be given the opportunity to draft content & press releases and pitch stories to reporters whilst developing and maintaining confident working relationships with partners, families, victims and local media.
You will also be given the responsibility of monitoring incoming enquiries from print, broafcast, online and social media ensuring the organisations position is credible and effectively communicated. This is a very interesting position and a great opportunity to showcase your all round ability and your personal leadership skills.
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrable experience of working in PR and Media Relations
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of the media landscape and sharp news sense
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Ability to negotiate diplomatically

- Public Sector experience
