Description
We are heading up a recruitment drive on behalf of a not for profit organisation that partners with governments, service providers, the voluntary sector and the financial community to find better ways of tackling social problems in the UK. The business require a User Researcher to join their team on a major government project that is based remotely.
Requirements:
- GDS experience
- Ideally someone who has experience working with at risk populations or local councils
-Confident in planning and carrying out user testing for a beta/live product
-Evidence of quickly turning about user testing sessions into a user insights playback deck, that can be easily turned around into new designs
-Experience and confidence putting together new designs based on user testing insights. Doesn't have to be a pro at Figma, but confident putting something together in Powerpoint or Miro
-Strong ability to recruit users using a variety of difference channels, and not be afraid of chasing stakeholders (they don't know or have influence over)
-Proactive/Solution focused approach (essential this person has experience being the only user researcher)
-Comfortable moving at pace (plenty of experience of project based work, rather than perm UR employee at the same place)
