My client, a leader in their field are on the lookout for a UX Researcher to join their team. The successful candidate will be passionate about UX Research and would have been a senior member of a team previously.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Research in Experience Strategy, the role will initially support the delivery of an innovative banking solution for one of the UK's major banks; delivering and improving the UX and Usability research currently being conducted.

In the medium term, the role will support the review and revision of current UX research practices to ensure Publicis Sapient embrace the latest techniques, have effective solutions for the business's changing needs and can meet the demands of growing scale. Where necessary, the UX Researcher will act as a champion guiding, supporting and training product development teams on techniques in the UK office whilst continuing to spend a significant proportion of their time running research projects.

Longer-term, the role will ideally help with the development of a more state of the art UX research capability; helping the company embrace biometric techniques such as eye-tracking, facial coding etc. in the evaluation of digital experience.

The role is ideally suited to a passionate UX researcher who is keen to grow and be given a chance to raise the standard of UX design research in one of the world's leading Digital Business Transformation businesses. Having a passion for consumer research and a never-ending curiosity in the pursuit of understanding the why?' behind the what?' would be ideal qualities.

Qualifications

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrable expertise in qualitative and quantitative UX digital research.
  • Extensive experience of a wide range of industry standard UX Research methodologies and tools
  • Proven experience of successful management and delivery of research on medium to large-scale projects
  • Ideally, experienced in consumer, retail or banking spaces, with a proven track record of evaluating, scoping and shaping successful online services, content and experiences
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a STEM subject, Psychology, Behavioural Economics, Marketing or Design.
  • A strong team player, skilled at working in a cross-functional, multi-discipline environment with excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively to senior stakeholders
  • Strong commercial awareness with good strategic and analytical skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with ability to manage and own multiple competing priorities
  • Ideally, some experience of remote testing and/or the use of biometrics in the evaluation of digital experiences.
