Description

We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who require a User Researcher for one of their Public sector Clients.

  • IR35 - This role is inside of IR35
  • Public Sector End Client
  • OUT of Scope IR35
  • Location Remote
  • Active BPSS, will consider candidates eligible to go through the process
  • Start Date Subject to BPSS being approved by CG Vetting Team
  • High probability of the role being extended beyond Sep to the end of the year

Job Description:

Accountable for ensuring the project team understands its users so it can design the right kind of service to enable project outcomes

A User Researcher is needed to work with the project team to carry out the following research tasks to support the delivery of the feature scope:

  • Produce personas/user profiles
  • Produce a research plans
  • Conduct user recruitment
  • Conduct research with users including usability testing
  • Document and prioritise user needs
  • Document and share findings from research

User Researchers will engage, communicate and consult with the wider project team and associated service teams (eg product owners, service designers, BAs and architects) throughout to ensure research findings are relevant, visible, understood, digested and actioned

User researchers plan, design and carry out research activities with users that help teams get a deep understanding of the people that use government services. This research informs policy, proposition, service, content and interaction design so that services work well for users and achieves policy intent.
