Description
Harvey Nash's public sector client is currently looking for a Head of Communications to join their team for an initial six months. The client is based in Edinburgh, however, this role will be home based until restrictions are lifted further. This role will be critical to overseeing communications and marketing with key groups of the organisation.
Main Duties:
- Oversee the development and implementation of the marketing and advertising campaign for the programme of work, working closely with agencies and Scottish Government colleagues.
- Plan and deliver strategic proactive media relations activity, working with PR agencies, and managing reactive communications and incident planning ahead of the programme.
- Direct line management of two members of staff, overseeing and guiding key elements of their work.
This role has been deemed inside IR35 by the client, therefore, the use of an Umbrella company is required. The rate on offer is up to £500/day. Applicants must already hold a Basic Disclosure Scotland and be willing to undergo BPSS clearance. Please click the link to apply.
