Sr. UX Designer/Interaction Engineer
Location: Antwerp Belgium
Contract Duration: 6 months + Possible ext
Description:
Designing fun to use UIs for cutting edge AI/ML solutions enabling scientists in Drug discovery R&D, Safety, Supply chain, Digital Health. Great opportunity to multiply the impact of the team through better UX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of digital experiences for large projects
- Strategically imagine, manage and drive UI design projects from ideation to implementation.
- Act as liaison between Front End developers, software engineers & project managers to provide feedback and ensure design integrity & consistency across projects.
- Determines best UX solutions based on customer feedback and business goals and helps to determine overall direction, identifying challenges and adapting as needed based on the context of the solution and customer.
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience designing cool UI for web applications
- Excellent command of design principles, problem-framing skills, user experience, and beautiful visual design skills
- Understanding of Front End web such as CSS/HTML and general understanding of Back End technologies that are required to build out experiences.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently(minimal supervision) but also collaborative and driven by group critique & fast paced iterative design process.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:
- UI coding experience & familiarity with UI tech stacks
- Proficiency and skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch and other design tools
- Experience working for AI/ML solutions
Education:
Bachelors or master's degree in the study of design (including one of the following); Design, Web Design, Interaction Design, UI/UX Design, Service Design, Information Architecture, Human Factors, or equivalent project experience.
