Job Title: Technical Writer
Location: Fully Remote
Salary/Rate: £400 Per Day (Inside IR35)
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months

If you are a Technical Writer looking for an exciting new contract opportunity, we have a great role for you. One of our UK Consultancy clients are looking for a Technical Writer to join their team.

They are building an international team in the UK and Australia to expand the content breadth within this product. This is an extremely exciting opportunity for an individual with technical writing expertise to contribute to the growth of this new business line.

Main Purpose of the Role
Creating accurate and up-to-date regulatory content for electronic publication, undertaking research as necessary. Forming part of a content supply chain within a broader project team. Aiding sales and marketing teams when required.

Key Responsibilities
Producing material for electronic publication - including planning, writing and initial editing.
Ensuring all material produced is accurate, published to standard and published on schedule.
Liaising with project team members and others with regards to content and other issues.
Supplementing material with self-generated content, eg annotations, as necessary.
Contributing independently, solving problems that occur within own area using judgement.
Being the technical specialist for an area, delivering knowledge and input independently.

Specialist Knowledge/Skills Required
Experience in creating technical material for the legal industry (or similar).
Excellent written English, including the capacity to write within strict constraints of house style
Experience demonstrating an understanding of the way law and/or regulation develops.
Law degree and/or legal professional qualifications desirable (not a must have)
Analytical and orderly mind, with capacity to see both the whole picture as well as detail.
Self-discipline and motivation, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to prioritise workload and deliver to strict deadlines.
