Senior Front End Developer - React/Typescript -Fintech

I am collaborating with a fintech client providing web-based portfolio management technology and outsourced services across all investment management and trading functions, including quantitative support, risk analysis, operations, treasury and regulatory reporting. This is a spin out from a global asset manager.

They are seeking a Senior Front End Developer of exceptional ability for a unique role within the London office.

An exceptional, senior React engineer would come on board to work alongside the business in a small team of two, focusing on developing and maintaining the Front End of financial software client portfolios working through the full SDLC. The work will be greenfield, but also managing and updating the existing codebase in place.

In addition, you will be an excellent communicator. You'll need to be able to deliver all aspects of the projects unassisted, working without supervision in a fast paced and dynamic environment..

What's Required:

  • 4-8 years experience working on Front End UI builds
  • React/Redux/Typescript to a high level
  • Core web Front End fundamentals: HTML, JavaScript, CSS,
  • Demonstrable history of developing complex UIs in a commercial environment
  • Ability to straddle design, client-side and Server Side development
  • Experience developing with Typescript or similar technologies -
  • Experience writing automated tests using Cypress or similar
  • Experience with Node.js Back End and Relational Database (MySQL or similar) is a plus
