Senior Designer
Role Summary
We have an exciting new contract opportunity based in Barrow as a Senior Designer.
The role will be an initial 12 month contract and will provide you with h a number of functions and departments to provide a unique design service to support a wide variety of shipyard activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling of Structural Steelwork and other units.
- Shipping of Major Equipment & Modules
- Transportation of Heavy & Indivisible Build Components
- Jig & Tool design including lifting equipment
- Build Strategy & Capacity Planning Studies
Key skills & qualifications
- Producing concept designs
- Detailed manufacturing & general arrangement drawings
- procedures for shipping, transport & handling activities.
- Blocking (Supports) for Structural Steelwork & other units

Location: Barrow
Rate: £28.43 per hour (INSIDE IR35)
