Web Content Editor - Remote Working - Inside IR35
Our client are currently looking for a motivated, ambitious Web Content Editor to join a high performing team on a contract basis.
Passionate about creating customer focused, clear and easy to understand web and digital journey content, you'll bring enthusiasm and energy along with the latest thinking in content design.
This role will give you the chance to develop and learn and to be part of an exciting transformation programme.
In your role you will:
- Design and edit content for the clients website, including for self-serve online forms.
- Action requests for web updates from service area content owners.
- Design content which meets user needs, and makes complex language and processes easy to understand.
Design web content which:
- Adheres to the clients style and tone of voice guides
- Encourages users and businesses to self-serve online to support our channel shift ambitions
- Is accessible to all our customers and meets accessibility standards
- Is written for search engine optimisation to ensure users have a positive experience of finding the right content quickly and easily
You'll need:
- Strong communication and engagement skills so you can quickly develop positive working relationships with our many subject matter experts.
- Evidence of experience of effective use of Google Analytics to inform good content design.
- Local Authority/Public sector experience would be ideal but not essential.
