Description
UX Researcher - Contract
You will be working for a Large Financial Services Organisation and be responsible for driving decisions about the end-to-end customer experience and rationalise them using research data, design principles, simple prototypes, and user-testing insights. You'll collaborate with UX designers, IT Developers, Product Owners, and other team members to respond to the project requirements.
The key responsibilities for this role includes:
- Validating new design concepts and customer journeys within the new mortgage application journey, utilising different research methods
- Designing, planning and executing various methods of user testing research including, user interviews, surveys, cards sorts and click tests.
- Identify and manage usability testing requirements, including outputs and analysis and maintain documented evidence in an auditable format.
- Testing of the app(s) you're working on during iterations to ensure visual design and accessibility standards are being met.
- Understand and validate customer journeys using an array of tools including customer journey mapping, data analysis, competitor benchmarking and user research.
The key experience and knowledge required for this role includes:
- A tech savvy creative with a passion for responsive web design and cross platform devices, including mobile, tablets and apps.
- Proven experience in usability testing and being able to use multiple sources of customer insight to understand a customer's needs and pain points.
- Familiarity with UI development techniques and frameworks; ability to develop in these frameworks a plus.
- Experience working collaboratively in a cross functional team as part of an agile, iterative development process
- Strong knowledge of tools and technologies that aid the usability process. Ideal (but not essential), experience with using User Zoom and Figma
- Proven experience in digital user interfaces
- Proven experience in creating customer journey maps
