Location: Remote with occasional office visits to London or East Kilbride as required (can chose between the 2)

Pay rate: £350pd Outside IR35

Duration: 6 months, likely extension

Position: Associate O365 Information Manager - Intranet Content Publisher

Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance and UK Nationality are essential for this role. Hiring Manager will consider candidates without SC clearance with a view to putting them through clearance, but the candidates must be willing to wait 6-8 weeks before starting.

Job role: You'll be a key part of ensuring transformation messaging and guidance is communicated to FCDO staff. Your role will include: preparing and moving content from Legacy systems to develop a new single Intranet editing and updating content pages, ensuring they meets user needs and accessibility standards, and are optimally displayed and delivered in line with style guides, publishing standards and deadlines. organising content, adding metadata and tags to ensure guidance is accessible and findable, and organised appropriately within the new information architecture providing usage and other data to support decision-making on development including work on user insight capability and identification of broken links

Essential skills: Proven Intranet content publishing skills using SharePoint to create, organise and deliver clear, accessible content to meet user needs, with an eye for detail, and an understanding of accessibility standards. Knowledge of information architecture with experience of working with SharePoint to create Intranet content in an evergreen environment, and using complex web parts to better surface content. Good communication skills - to build relationships and converse with technical information architects, content publishers and information managers. Knowledge of agile ways of working and user-centred content design for intranets in the public sector, and of Government Digital Service principles

Desirable skills Previous experience of working in the government sector M365 skills to use and exploit the wide range of Intranet-related tools such as Stream, Yammer, Sway and MS Forms. Knowledge of Power Apps. Understanding of copyright and reuse of third party content
