Leading insurance provider is actively recruiting for an experienced UX Designer (User Experience) to design, deliver and maintain best-in-class, highly engaging end-to-end user experience across all channels and devices that delivers business objectives in line with the brand specific customer proposition definition.
The successful UX Designer/User Experience will be responsible for:
- Design, communicate, and gain consensus for commercially driven user experience improvement projects.
- Work closely with the digital team, analysts and business representatives to deliver fit for purpose designs
- Own user interactions using sketches, wire frames, lo & hi fidelity prototypes
- Provide user experience testing
- Champion best practice of UCD, usability and accessibility.
- Own and support delivery of digital and customer objectives
- Own and manage user experience documentation that defines patterns, site architecture, site design strategy
- Provide support to ensure brand guidelines are followed in all design
- Work with digital team and compliance to ensure all changes are compliant
- Post implementation analysis and optimisation recommendations
- Thorough understanding of customer target segments and business objectives
- Develops market leading online customer journeys
- Proactive development of UX Design from initial concept through to delivery.
- UX projects are assessed against key metrics of customer suitability, commercial viability and overall compliance.
Essential experience required for the position of UX Designer (User Experience)
- Comfortable sketching, wire framing, prototyping (AXURE)
- Have the ability to perform heuristic reviews of existing build
- Collaborative approach to design
- Passionate about all points of interaction eg Desktop, tablet, mobile
- Basic understanding of human computer interactions
- Excellent knowledge of creative process and techniques for user experience
- Have strong communication skills and able to articulate designs to colleagues
- Good relationship skills - able to operate effectively at all levels of organisation.
- High level of customer focus and understanding of customer needs
- Strategic thinking and problem solving capability - ability to develop practical solutions with the big picture in mind
- Clear understanding of the regulatory environment in which the business operates.
