Description
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer that is passionate and experienced in solving complex problems. Our client is the all-in-one HR software for small and medium-sized companies. Our client is on a mission to make HR processes as clear and efficient as possible so HR can focus on what matters most: people and strategy. In the Payroll Domain, their goal is to ensure that people around the world are paid accurately and on time for their hard work. This means ensuring all the manual back office processes and inter-connected systems are simplified.As the Senior Product Designer, you will not only help create best-in-class user experiences and contribute to the overall mission to offer a payroll feature to their customers, but provide support, mentoring and leadership to other Product Designers.
You will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team, working side-by-side with Product Managers and Engineers as well as other Designers.
Key tasks:
- Being a key part of the end-to-end product development process driving projects from concept to delivery.
- Contributing to product delivery with visual concepts and UX methods
- Align designers around a shared vision to driven consistent outcome
- Identify and set strategies to focus on innovation and disruption within product vertical
- Creating holistic and best-in-class user experiences to match customer and business needs
- Creating prototypes for testing and stakeholder reviews
- Partnering closely with the UX Research team to drive discovery
- Driving co-creation sessions with other team members and stakeholders
- Delivering project specifications and supporting the implementation
- Contributing to the Product Design language through the continuous iteration of a Design System and UI library
- Mentorship and supporting other Designers to excel
What you need to succeed
- 5+ years of experience in designing digital products or services, ideally in a SaaS environment
- You understand how people interact with digital products, their cognitive biases and industry established interaction patterns
- Advanced understanding and application of human-centered design, visual design and interaction design
- You can iterate quickly, create low and high fidelity prototypes
- Experience of design ownership and worked closely and effectively with PM and Engineering leaders
- Good understanding of information architecture
- You provide feedback regularly for continuous improvement, but also seek out areas of improvement as well
- Versed in various techniques to support UX Research on mapping insights and quantitatively or qualitatively test solutions with customers
- Know how to clearly communicate design knowledge on a strategic level
- Figma
- Experience with HR platforms/tools is preferred but not essential
