Technical Author/Writer - Data Engineering - Remote
My digital consultancy client is looking for a Technical Writer who has technical background in data engineering to help on an urgent assignment for the next 3-6 months.
The Technical Author will be responsible for researching, developing, authoring, and updating documentation, and for ensuring that documentation deliverables are thorough, technically accurate, and address the target audience
This role is INSIDE IR35 and fully remote.
Requirements:
- Must come from a technical background within data engineering
- Create and publish high-impact, developer/customer-facing written content
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, architects etc to plan, create, and maintain user-facing documentation.
- Edit content contributed by the product team and open-source contributors for technical accuracy, structure, grammar, usage, adherence to style and fit within information architecture.
- Understand and improve information architecture of documentation
