Senior Interaction Designer - UX Designer - UI Designer - GDS
A major cental government department are seeking a Senior Interaction Designer to join them on an initial 3-month contract (12-month workstream). Presence once a week/every 2 weeks is required in Newcastle.
- To help the Product Team create user-focused, accessible services and a consistent user experience for a major government service.
- Evidence and context-based design that lets users interact with services in terms of both overall flow and design of the e2e design/service.
- Produce design constraints and share with the team and produce prototypes as per departmental and GDS standards/design principles.
- Setting direction and embedding good practice, making important decisions based on research and understanding how this research impacts others.
- This a complex area of work, spanning 23 lines hence the requirement for a senior position.
- Ideally, someone who has previously worked for a Government Department.
