Description
We are looking for a Lead Service Architect for one of our public sector clients.
- Rate: £650 per day
- Length: 6 months (extension likely)
- Inside IR35
- Remote working
As the Lead Service Designer the main responsibilities are:
- Be responsible for leading a small team of Service Architects to ensure that appropriate service designs and related artefacts are created.
- Working with the Principal Service Architect and other stakeholders to ensure that standards, governance and quality is maintained.
- Working with external & incumbent suppliers to influence and assure necessary outcomes.
- Ensuring that any Service Design work is delivered effectively in line with agreed dates and milestones.
- Owning the output of the service architecture team with colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that any service that is insourced or procured has the appropriate service requirements and service design created.
- Act as a trusted source and appropriate signpost to process and governance.
As a Lead Service Architect, you will have experience in:
- Creation of service design deliverables (eg Service Design Packs, Operational Working Agreements, Operational Level Agreements, KPI's & SLA's)
- Evaluation of supplier bids and proposals to ensure that service requirements are properly met
- Managing discrete areas of operations and stakeholders to ensure a consistent and coherent service approach for any new demand.
- Highly organised, able to adeptly navigate across teams and subject areas and to operate in complex environments.
- Strongly results oriented and focused on pragmatically getting to outcomes - comfortable to dig in and troubleshoot as needed.
- Willing to challenge business/commercial logic, supported by facts.
- Clear, concise communicator with strong leadership presence - ability to manage communication with key senior stakeholders.
- Manage risk and tracking the mitigation of risks. Understand and resolve disputes across varying levels of complexity.
- Previous track record of insourcing enterprise level services and/or transformation programmes.
