Product Designer - Cultural Moments
Our client is in search of a Product Design consultant to join the Access Design Team within the Freemium Mission. Their team brings an exciting experience to audiences around the world by tearing down access barriers and celebrating local cultures for every listener, everywhere.
They are looking for a designer to partner with them on a project where they envision to create in-product experiences that celebrate cultural moments in some of their focus markets - think Ramadan in the Middle East, Diwali in India or Sakura in Japan.
What You'll Do:
Let users lead the way. Thier teams focus on understanding how users connect to audio in different parts of the world and letting their needs guide them to the best solutions.
Work cross-functionally with design, engineering, product, insights, and business folks to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges.
Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes; knowing when to make low-FI sketches and prototypes, and when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail.
Who You Are:
4+ years of experience designing for mobile and web platforms.
You care about communication and can employ storytelling to paint a picture, build understanding and brainstorm initial design concepts.
You are a conceptual and human-centered problem solver. You seek to understand people's needs, motivations, and behaviors - in order to translate them into impactful results.
You are passionate about the craft. You can drive excellent design execution; especially on interaction and visual design.
You have an appetite for learning and evolving in all things. From design craft to process to industry and market trends - you never stop pushing into the next big challenge and fit right into our growth-focused culture.
You are able to provide a brief explanation in your application of why you are excellent for this role while highlighting your portfolio
