Senior Content Writer

We are seeking a Senior Content Writer to join JP Morgan's award winning Digital Experience Design (DXD) team in London on an initial 6 months contract with an oppportunity to potentially go permanent in the future if interested.

You will help with the content for JP Morgan's UI Toolkit which is a design system solution for building web and mobile user interfaces at scale that incorporate best-of-breed interactions and visual design. It helps the Bank deliver cohesive, ADA-compliant experiences across organizational boundaries, products and channels.

As the team grows, we're looking for a content specialist to directly support the project's VP of content strategy. We need a content all-rounder with the ability to understand and translate strategy to deliver site improvements on time. We're seeking a motivated doer, focused on content that is in the best interests of the users.

Collaborating with designers, developers, information architects, product owners and UX writers, this role will help to build a world-class design system.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and contribute to the content strategy.
  • Write communications, education pages, case studies, etc.
  • Edit the writing of others.
  • Project manage the content program, facilitate meetings.
  • Drive best practices and consistency.
  • Evangelize content standards.
  • Act as a content subject matter expert.
  • Evaluate and audit existing content.
  • Provide insights for improving the content experience.

Essential content strategy experience/understanding:

  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to understand and translate strategy into deliverable projects.
  • Content experiences with websites and apps.
  • Adherence to brand and style book guidelines.
  • Experience in editing content from many contributors into a consistent voice and tone.
  • Digital publishing processes.

Desirable experience

  • Design systems.
  • B2B financial services content.
  • AP Stylebook.

*Please note JP Morgan are working on a hybrid model of 3 days in office and 2 days remote within the UK per week. When working from home you will need your own Laptop/PC as these are not provided.*
