Product Designer - Banking - London - £625 (Inside IR35)
Harvey Nash are currently supporting a leading financial services provider with an exciting requirement to bring on a contract Product Designer.
This role sits in the bank's 'Consumer Onboarding design' team, where the focus is on creating simple, personalised, end-to-end buying experiences on mobile apps and websites.
- £625 p/day (Inside IR35, via Umbrella)
- London (City)
- 6 months (with view to extend)
The Role:
You'll be part of a cross-functional project team and responsible for all interaction design elements, from design thinking through to the hands-on craft.
- Proven and demonstrable background at a senior level, experience in UX design and Service Design for large scale projects.
- Advanced skills in competitor analysis, wire-framing, journey mapping, prototyping, sketching.
- Experience of supporting user research activities.
- Proficiency with industry standard design and business tools such as Axure, InVision, Adobe CC, Sketch and Figma
- The ability to manage a diverse landscape of stakeholders from digital and non-digital backgrounds
- To work hand-in-hand with engineers to ensure our designs are feasible
- To understand the business drivers behind our decisions and translate this into a superb customer experience
- Understand and map out intuitive steps in processes, eg user flows.
- Structure information delivery throughout the journey, defining page types, design goals, etc.
- Create consistent design and interaction techniques across channels, eg component design.
- Proactively design with the customer's needs.
