Product Designer - Figma

Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services requires a Product Designer with experience of using Figma based at their client's offices in London.

This is a hybrid role - You can work remotely with a 1-2 days based in the office per week.

This is a 6-month temporary contract with a high possibility of long-term extension to start ASAP.

Day rate: Competitive market rate

We are looking for Product Designer with strong product design experience using Figma

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce working documentation/deliverables such as experience guidelines, UX flows, wireframes, screens and prototype(s).
  • Experience of Figma (or equivalent) expected.
  • Working hand-in-glove with technical/development teams
  • Develop and run prototype testing sessions; A-B testing of design components and flows, information hierarchy validation eg card sorting etc.
  • Use the UI design system/language, components grid structures, icons, interactions as needed
  • Support the facilitation of workshops to prioritise, ideate and define opportunities
  • Work with the wider organisation and cross functional project teams to clarify business problems
  • Use (and constantly evolve) the UI design language, including components, grid structures, icons, interactions, constantly striving for high accessibility standards
  • Help to write relevant user stories, acceptance criteria, content and requirements
  • Now and then produce visual design and communication that is engaging and impactful - delivered through tools such as Adobe Creative Suite

Key Skills

  • Strong product design experience using Figma
  • Ability to travel to London for stakeholder meetings (not mandatory)
  • Extensive experience in user research and usability testing for digital products
  • Experience working through requirements gathering and wireframing to final product design
  • Experience working on data visualization products
  • Agile working
  • Identify use cases, write epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, content and requirements
