Job Description:
Candidates will have a proven track record at practitioner level in writing pedagogically sound educational content using a variety of writing techniques to convey learning such as: storytelling, case studies, metaphors or analogies. They must have a good working knowledge of pedagogy and how its principles underpin good content writing.
Essential
Accurate written and verbal communication skills;
Experience of using adaptable writing skills in an educational capacity;
Ability to implement accessibility in writing.
Attention to detail - essential for proof-reading your own content and that produced by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) or other members of the team;
Ability to conceive creative written ideas and work to a deadline;
Good team skills: you should be comfortable working within a small team of specialists, and liaising with staff from across the Academy. You should also be prepared to share knowledge, support your colleagues and wider Academy staff when required.
