Cloud Consulting have partnered with a leading company to manage an end-to-end digital transformation programme for a leading blue chip company to transform its commercial platforms and customer touchpoints.
We are looking for an experienced User Researcher to join the project.
The project is a hybrid one with 3 days on-site with the team (either Heathrow or Central London), and 2 days remote.
The project is outside of IR35.
Your expertise:
Experience completing usability and discovery type research to understand users, what they need, and what current pain points they experience
Experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis, of small and large amounts of data
Experience using remote and in person research tools to aid in research (eg eye tracking; online card sorting tools; survey tools)
Experience playing back research findings, and using insights to contribute to design recommendations Experience playing back research findings to senior internal and external groups
Experience creating a research plan, including, collaborating with stakeholders to identify research objectives, research questions, and to identify the relevant research methods
Experience undertaking user research with people with accessible needs, and experience testing usability of digital services through accessibility tools (eg screen readers)
Deliverables:
You'll be helping to build and shape the design of an advanced data platform for a leading company, working in a multi-disciplinary data team.
Will involve working with content designers, product designers (UX/UI), service designers, product owners and technical teams to ensure a consistent and delight driven experience
Working in an agile team, and contributing during agile ceremonies (eg sprint planning; show and tells etc.).
Working with stakeholders to identify research objectives, and using this to plan research, including recommending different research methods, preparing research questions/scripts, and supporting the recruitment of users
Undertaking usability research on digital prototypes, and live products of varying fidelity to identify insights
Undertaking discovery type research (eg ethnographic studies) to understand user needs, journeys, and behaviours
Analysing research findings, identifying insights, and playing back insights to relevant groups
Documenting insights and approaches rigorously in a shared space to enable re-use of research findings and assets
