AEM Content Editor

6 months Contract

£400 per day via Umbrella Company

Milton Keynes (Hybrid)

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To ensure that we are creating user-friendly digital user journeys that help us meet our business targets you'll be obtaining website requirements from stakeholders and mapping requirements to AEM templates and components, creating the layout of web pages, maintaining content updates to various websites and publishing within Adobe Experience Manager.

You'll have experience of migrating a website and replatforming to AEM using best practices in Front End architecture, including performance optimisation, accessibility, and usability. Also be the subject matter expert in the tools and processes required to manage website migrations from other CMS systems, including identifying website improvement opportunities as well continuously validate the user experience. That includes ensuring content meets SEO standards and assisting the marketing team in preparing webpage layouts for regulatory review.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement AEM CMS components, build templates, add new features based on business requirements.
  • Support in the scoping of upcoming migration of replatforming to the AEM CMS by building new templates, building webpages and migrating content.
  • Create new web pages based on UI/UX design that translate into excellent user experience.
  • Support with ongoing AEM page content creation and maintenance.
  • Provide ongoing guidance, training, and support for AEM content editors
  • Continuously optimise page performance by analysing data in Adobe Analytics to fix errors and improve user experience.
  • Support implementation of new marketing solutions on our website eg, SEO, web tracking, analytics elements etc.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience contributing to enterprise website that include migration and online production of webpages using AEM
  • Experience of mapping website designs to AEM templates and components
  • Competency with web UX conventions and standards, including accessibility and SEO
  • Strong capacity to identify stakeholder requirements and define solutions
  • Skilled at editing and proofreading
  • Experience in optimising digital web journeys with data-driven insight.

Bonus points

  • Understanding of AEM underlying technology stack
  • General knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
  • Experience in implementing search engine optimisation (SEO) tactics
  • Experience in data tracking and analytics.

SKILLS & PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS REQUIRED

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken (company language is English)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a diverse team.
