EXPERIENCED QUALITY ENGINEER NEEDED FOR ESTABLISHED MEDICAL DEVICE COMPANY FOR A 6 MONTH CONTRACTQuality Engineer
Location: South West, UK
Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join our established Quality Engineering Department and to provide support to production teams for new product introduction, process improvement and defect reduction. The client is looking for a bright, engaging, delivery focused quality engineer to come in and help them.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and report relevant failure investigations.
- Collect analyse and report data.
- Validation.
- Support product development.
- Conduct QMS, manufacturing and supplier audits.
- Provide support to quality assurance manager during external audits.
Skills and Experience required:
- Six sigma
- ISO9001
- ISO13485
- TSI16949
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Knowledge of Microsoft office applications including excel, access, PowerPoint, project and word.
- FMEA
- SPC
- Knowledge of quality analyst or Minitab.
Salary: Between £40 - £50 per hour dependent on experience.
