Description
I am currently seeking a Planning & Performance analyst to work in the East of England an initial 6 month interim contract. You will be required to have and complete:- Strong NHS Experience
- Undertake monitoring and investigating information variances, working with providers to actively pursue discrepancies and identify changes in data collection requirements.
- This is to maximise the information held within existing data sets, including complex data management and manipulation
- Analyse and interpret complex information, including both quantitative and qualitative, from a wide range of sources taking account of confidentiality and the limitations of the data used.
- To work with a broad range of information from a wide range of sources presenting complex and sophisticated information in a meaningful way to increase organisational knowledge and enable evidence-based decisions.
- Carry out contract, quality and performance analysis
- Utilise modelling and forecasting techniques to predict need and demand
- Present findings and recommendations in a form as presentations or written reports, suitable for a wide range of lay and professional audiences.
- Participate in relevant meetings
- Significant experience of working in data analysis roles
You will also need:
- Excellent data manipulation & interpretation skills using MS Excel
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Powerpoint and Access
- Experience and understanding of evaluating and measuring the performance of health services
- Ability to analyse and interpret information, pre-empt and evaluate issues, and recommend and appropriate course of action to address the issues
- Problem solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands
- Attention to detail combined with the ability to extract key messages from complex analysis
- Clear communicator with excellent writing, report writing and presentation skills. Creating own reports, documents and presentations
