Role: eLearning ConsultantRate: £300- £400 per day
Location: South West, England
Duration: 6 Months
Job Profile:
My client, a leading University in the South West are looking for an eLearning consultant to provide advice and support for staff in the use and application of new technologies in the eLearning.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- to identify, develop and evaluate appropriate eLearning strategies to meet education needs and assist with the implementation
- to identify staff development needs and deliver appropriate training events including workshops
- to provide advice on learning technologies, development processes, legislation, training requirements and technical specs
- to evaluate the effectiveness of supported learning technologies
- to research and produce eLearning materials
- to report findings
- to design and develop the LTSS web presences
Essential skills:
- Knowledge and experience of using and supporting VLE's including an awareness of the imperatives for its use in Higher Educations
- 5+ years experience working with emerging technologies in a Higher Education setting
- Experience creating and maintaining web pages including issues around usability, accessibility and web standards
Desirables:
- BlackBoard experience
- Experience as a teacher in early career
