Global Pharmaceutical company in Co. Wicklow is seeking a Quality Specialist to join their team.The QA Specialist will represent the Quality Assurance Department in the Production area by assisting Production personnel with GMP matters. He/she will proactively identify needs and will assist with the recognition and implementation of solutions. This is a 9-12 month fixed term contract.
QA Specialist
- Reporting to the Compliance Specialist, the QA Specialist will represent the Quality Assurance Department in the Production area by assisting Production personnel with GMP matters. He/she will proactively identify needs and will assist with the recognition and implementation of solutions.
- Candidates should have a Third level Life Science qualification, 3 years' relevant experience in a Quality Assurance function and a good knowledge of manufacturing processes within the pharmaceutical or medical devices industries.
- The successful applicant will have strong communication, interpersonal and organisation skills.
- He/She will be capable of working without close supervision in a flexible, team based environment. Candidates must be proactive, self motivated and task orientated. Proficiency in I.T., excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail are also required.
- An honours degree in a Life Science, a third level qualification in Quality Assurance and experience in a solid dosage manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
