Description
Senior Buyer - Security Cleared (SC) required for a leading global defence company based in Bristol. The candidate will require to have current valid SC clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Co-lead on all new bid work across Defence
- Develop winning sourcing strategies across the supply chain
- Identify alternative suppliers, products and solutions
- Develop supply chain win themes
- Create overarching procurement plans with tasks and timescales
- Market research and analysis
- Supplier engagement
- Prepare bid evaluation reports
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions both for materials and services
- Carry out due diligence for key suppliers
- Carry out overall value assessments per bid
Key Skills:
- Detailed knowledge of material supply and service contracts
- Market analysis experience in UK
- Senior Buyer experience
- Writing strategic plans
- Technical Knowledge of either machinery or electronics
- SC clearance
