Communications Manager - Investment Trust Marketing

We require a Communications Manager to join a global Asset Management organisation to work within their Investment Trust Marketing division for an initial 10 months contract based in London.

You will assist with the delivery of integrated customer communications supporting the Head of Investment Trust marketing for the discretionary manager and adviser channel as well as board communications. This role will suit an individual that wants to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment with an organisation that can provide valuable experience and progression opportunities. It is important that the individual can demonstrate the ability to prioritise effectively and manage the delivery of multiple projects.

Main responsibilities:
To support the Marketing Manager to drive the product and business agenda through marketing communications.
To ensure consistent messaging across all communications.
To ensure mandatory documents, eg Investment Trust Profiles booklet, is kept up to date.
To monitor and keep up to date with enhancements and utilisation of the web.
To work with team members, internal and external agencies and relevant business areas to deliver promotional and support activities integrated across the full marketing mix including monthly emails, sales aids, press advertising, online advertising, fund manager interviews, product brochures etc
To respond to marketing requests and support from the investment trust sales team
To ensure all marketing activity has measures in place so that meaningful analysis and lessons can be learned.
To coordinate multiple stakeholder sign-off ensuring adherence to company/industry standards and compliance regulations via an electronic workflow management system
To implement any required updates of all marketing collateral to ensure that it is consistent, relevant, compliant and up-to-date.
To ensure that all activity is managed to budget.
To liaise with marketing colleagues and stakeholders to ensure best execution, consistency and adherence to corporate and brand guidelines.

Experience and skills:

Marketing experience either agency or client side with track record of delivering fully integrated marketing campaigns successfully with an appreciation of online.
Proven planning and project management skills.
Experience in asset management/financial services is preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of investment trusts preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with working in a complex Matrix structure is beneficial.
Ability to work with different stakeholders, both within the marketing team, and with internal clients, is critical to success of the role.
Degree and or marketing qualifications - desirable but not essential.
Good PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications essential.
Ability to interrogate data.
Knowledge of layout and design basics.
Strong attention to detail.
