Description

SAP FI CO Consultant

Our client requires an SAP FICO Consultant for ongoing Retail implementation in Greece and Belgium based on a European Template. Prior experience in the Retail Industry is considered a must.

You must be able to:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to define the user requirements and develop best practice business solutions to fulfil the agreed requirements in various domains of integrated finance.
Organize, prepare and present workshops (strong communication/presentation skills).
Propose standard best practices but also take into account the specific local business requirements and integrate in our existing Regional SAP FICO Template Solution.
Develop, configure and test enhancements to SAP systems, based on customer requirements and according to solution designs.
Determine own practices and procedures and may contribute to the development of new concepts.
Configure different SAP FICO modules according to solution designs.
Writes documentation (WRICEF, SOP, training material, configuration and customizing, etc.)
Work in adherence to the client company's policies while adapting to the business environment.
Ensure knowledge transfer with CoE resources.

Training

Part of the deliverable will be a tailored training program and material with respect to the scope of the project and compliant the Customer guidelines. He/she will organize and give the trainings to business key users. The training material will be Customer property.

Requirements

Skills - must haves

General Skills

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience and knowledge in implementing SAP FICO solutions. Prior implementation experience within Retail Sector is considered a must.
A couple of full life cycle implementations in SAP FICO including leading roles in FI module.
International implementation experience, in multi-country roll-outs, based on global template.
SAP Localization experience of South East Europe, in particular Greece Serbia, is considered an asset.
Communication skills: regular contact to be established with others inside and outside the organization including co-workers, external, and internal customers.
Proficient with MS Office applications
Ability to lead the whole track: blueprint workshop, writing functional specifications, customizing, organizing local workshops.
Ability to play gatekeeper role for regional template.
Ability to talk to the business in business process terminology.
Strong decision making skills and ability to use discretion.
Requires strong analytical skills and creativity.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Team player with high level of integrity

Expert knowledge of following functional SAP areas is essential:

General Ledger
Bank accounting
Accounts Payables
Accounts Receivables
Management Accounting
Integration with MM/SD
Any knowledge of other modules such as Material Management, Sales Distribution would be considered a plus.
