Social Media Manager
3 Month Contract
London (Leicester Square)

Reporting Into: Account Director
Responsible For: x1 Community Manager

Role

*You are responsible for the management and oversight of Social Media marketing activities for a number of clients.
*From the long term strategy to its day-to-day implementation, you will take the lead in ensuring that client objectives are met and the target audience remains positively engaged with the brand.
*You will show a high level of strategic direction for your clients, colleagues and as part of a cross-agency team.

Responsibilities

*Take the lead in development and guardianship of Social Media Channel, Content and Community Management strategies
*Ensure that all work generated within the agency for broadcast on our client's Social channels remains on brand and strategy.
*Responsible for writing creative briefs for your clients' social media campaigns
*Help guide and nurture the development of great content
*Liaise directly with the client on strategic matters, gaining feedback on the work we produce and drawing out any insight.
*Realise new opportunities within your clients' yearly plans, and work with the Account Directors to bring new work into our agency.
*Be a confident and assertive voice within the cross-agency team on all Social Media matters.
*Work with your clients' Media Agencies to make sure paid support is aligned with broader Social objectives and that the Media Agency are bringing all opportunities for innovation to the attention of the client.
*Be responsible for reporting on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis
*You will be expert in using native platform analytics tools and have a great deal of experience of third-party Social Listening software such as Sysomos or Brandwatch.
*Share any trends/insights with the broader agency team and client
*Conduct knowledge sharing sessions, help with new business pitches and develop a valuable relationship with other agencies.

Skills & Experience

*You will have substantial agency experience, with specialisation in Social Media.
*In discussing your experience you will be able show that you have:
oWorked closely with clients to determine Social Strategy
oExperience working with reporting platforms to draw analysis and insight
oExperience organising and publishing a calendar of Social content
oA sound working knowledge of Paid Media options available across a variety of platforms
oA good knowledge of current themes and debates around Social Media marketing as a discipline.
*Community Management experience is beneficial.
