Function
Senior SAP BW Consultant for supporting the Integrated Finance, Rebates and Valuation implementation.
The senior BW consultant develops and tests enhancements to the SAP BW system, based on customer requirements and according to solution designs and corporate. He/she performs frequently new and varied work that involves a high degree of complexity.
- Advices and contributes to IT-Demand teams in their requirements gathering and analysis.
- Follows up and proactively communicates on project progress, opportunities and challenges.
- Works independently in
- Writes documentation (WRICEF, Technical documentation)
- Conduct Unit Tests and String Tests
- Support Integration Tests and UAT
- Support short term Post go-Live activities and knowledge transfer
- Keeps current with latest technology
- Organizes, prepares and presents meetings (strong communication/presentation skills),
- Manages own work
- Proactively communicates risks (threads and opportunities)
Requirements
Skills - must haves
General skills
- At least 10 years of experience in SAP BW
- Experience of at least 4 full implementation cycles
- Effective in delivering presentations and running meetings
- Experience in participation in all phases of a project: blueprint workshop, writing functional specifications, customizing, organizing local workshops
- Experience in BW implementation for POS DM is a must
Technical knowledge
- Hands-on experience in SAP BW 7.x
- Design of ETL and process chains
- Data modelling, according to LSA
- Query Designer BO Analysis
- Outbound interfaces from BW by means of Open Hubs
- Inbound interfaces from non-SAP resources
- Inbound interfaces from MDM
- Web Intelligence, Design Studio are a plus
- Transports and authorization concept
- Excellent command of Microsoft solutions (Office, Project, Visio)
- Proficient with MS Office applications
Skills - nice to haves
Ideally, consultant from Greece
Occasional trips abroad may be required
