Description

An exciting 2-3 month opportunity has arisen for an experienced Communications Executive to join a leading Financial Service company based in London.

The successful candidate must have;

* Degree level education.
* Demonstrable success and experience of working with the media in a busy and dynamic media team.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Excellent understanding of modern news techniques and the news media.
* Attention to detail along with the ability to translate complex information into strong, compelling and accurate information, written in plain English, for use in the media and in other channels.
* Strong news sense gained from work in the media or public relations.
* Demonstrable experience of devising, delivering and evaluating successful media relations initiatives.
* Some experience of working with PR agencies.
* Some understanding of the financial services environment is desirable as is the ability to handle sensitive information with great care and discretion.
* Excellent all-round computer skills. Intermediate knowledge of relevant packages, such as Word, Excel, desktop publishing packages, Outlook and Internet Explorer.
