Description

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and characteristics:
- Technically excellent with good knowledge of sensors/semi conductors
- Degree in semi-conductors, materials, electronics or a (low level) software subject - this may be substituted for equivalent working experience.
- Demonstrable knowledge of sensor semiconductors in some capacity (published white papers, degree thesis)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaising with external contacts
- Good report writing skills with proven knowledge of Microsoft office tools
- Ability to use relevant test equipment and software to be able to test prototypes
- Highly motivated self starter with the drive to complete tasks to a high standard

Please note that the selected candidate will be required to travel throughout Europe for business purposes sometimes with little or no notice.

The following skills would be considered advantageous although not essential:
- Knowledge of sensor community within Europe
- Previous experience of EU projects
- Fluency in the German language, both written and verbal
