Description

Huxley Engineering are specialist recruiters in the Energy from Waste sector . Huxley have a requirement for a Senior Civil Site Engineer on a contract basis, which we are recruiting for on behalf of a key client who specialises in civil engineering and Energy from Waste .

The role is a long term contract on a new energy from waste plant that is to be built in Scotland .

The Site Engineer typical duties shall include carrying out feasibility studies, option studies, infrastructure assessments, design calculations, earthworks modelling, drainage assessments, road design and assist with the general delivery of projects. You will also be expected to organise surveys, site investigations as well as to communicate/liaise with a range of customers, third parties and authorities.

To be considered for the Senior Site Engineer role you must meet the following criteria: Previous employment as a Site Engineer, Senior Engineer, Setting Out Engineer, Section Engineer, Civil Engineer or Sub-Agent. Previous experience on building sector projects. Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc).

You will have a strong interest and natural aptitude in civil and/or infrastructure engineering. Good interpersonal skills and a particular focus towards project delivery with a determination to deliver high quality on time and within budget is a must, along with a working knowledge of latest industry software The Candidate must be a hard working individual all rounded who is willing to get involved with all aspects of the project .
