Description

My client who are a leading name in the Energy and Utilities sector are currently looking for a Site Manager to join them.

Role:
Responsible for the overall site delivery, managing supervisors and dealing with operational issues, including various size teams of operatives per contract, specifically reporting to and supporting the designated Contract Manager.

Key Activities
* Managing teams of labour including ascertaining skills, knowledge, training and performance abilities.
* Reporting on all key data including costings, work plans, labour requirements and supply chain activity.
* Maintaining documentation in existing data filing systems.
* Working to continuously measure, report and maximise productivity.
* Providing additional technical advice and assistance to operatives regarding installation, supporting and working with supervisors when required

Key skill requirements
Essential
* Previous Site Manager experience.
* Experience of managing people.
* Experience in refurbishment.
* Experience in construction.
* Holding a valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
* Full driving licence.

Desirable
* Experience in Social Housing, New Build or Decent House.
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) training or equivalent.
* Ability to maintain optimum business performance in a quality focused and target driven environment.
* Ability to work with a wider team of colleagues and management at all levels.
* Ability to maintain self motivated and continually meet targets, deadlines, and changing priorities - a flexible approach to overcoming difficulties and getting the job done.
* Strong interpersonal and man management skills, including the ability to challenge processes for continuous improvement.
* Sound commercial acumen and analytical and problem solving skills.
* Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including word, excel and PowerPoint.
