Description

Communications Coordinator within banking, with experience of Global communications support, Microsoft support, Engagement Tracker, Work stream manager required for a 3 month rolling contract based on site at a large financial institution based in London.

As the Communications Coordinator you will be responsible for:

*Support of the Work stream Manager and Comms team by carrying out Global Communication activities to defined standards.
*The role reports directly to the Global Comms WSL.
*Responsible for all Programme wide Global Comms activity.
*Contributes and supports the delivery of Global Comms support to the Programme.
*Produces documentation and materials as required, supporting the Work stream and the wider Programme.
*Supports the Global Comms WSL & team to ensure quality deliverables are produced to time.

Key Accountabilities

*Support the Global Comms WSL in all Global Comms requirements
*Support the execution of a tracked and documented Global Communications process across the Programme
*Accurate communications on all changes for the Programme as a direct result of Global Comms activity
*Manages the sending of user Comms as required by the Programme
*Maintenance of Programme Comms Project Tracker to collate and track all current Projects and requirements from Communications team
*Outline issues/gaps in process for improvement
*Provide/publicise management information for Global Communications Workstream Lead as required
*Produce documentation and presentation material to a continually high standard for Programme consumption
*Supports the wider programme on aspects of Communication
Person Specification
*Proactive and self-motivated
*Ability to work independently
*Methodical and detailed approach to work
*General Scheduling/Comms understanding/experience
*Experience of working in an organised and timely manner/meeting deadlines
*Willingness to learn/help/support as required
*Awareness of the wider Programme
*Demonstrates effective communication, both orally and in writing, with colleagues and clients at all levels.
*Maintain awareness of current practices and developments within own area of expertise.
*Understanding and awareness of cultural diversity and demonstrates ability to engage with colleagues and adapt to environmental differences
*Takes initiative to keep own skills up to date and maintain awareness of developments.
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes preferable
*Working knowledge of Engagement Tracker/Jas (or similar data systems) preferable
