JD for Storage SME
Must have experience with HP P 9500 and XP 24000, HITACHI HDS 9532 and HDS 9585 Storage Boxes, Brocade Switches, and SAN/System Administration Management tools, VTL.
Working on SAN Storage eg EMC, Hitachi & HP. Brocade and Cisco Switches & Device Manager for LUN masking, Zoning, storage allocation and Reclamation stuff
troubleshooting Storage related problems and Alerts Monitoring
Should have understanding of thin provisioning, data migration
Capable of doing high level design and detailed design
Capable of doing testing and design validation
Follow SLAs, Schedule adherence, Timely update & escalated issues, ensure no violation happens
Follow Escalation process and work according to Process and guideline
Direct client interfacing
Working in 24*7 Environment
2-4 Years of exclusive experience in the required technologies
Expert knowledge of all/some versions of Unix/Windows eg AIX/Solaris/Linux/Windows
Good to have basic knowledge of multiple SAN/NAS Storage environment
Working knowledge of - MS Project, MS Word, Excel, Internet Explorer
Storage Certification preferred
Good analytical skills
Basic knowledge of ITIL framework preferred
It is an onsite requirement. It might be starting offshore, then onsite for some time, and then offshore again.
