Senior Financial Analyst

Description

• The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the monthly management of the Shared Risk financial activity and Analysis.
• This includes claims trend reconciliation, rates changes, audit schedules and updates of the PPG summaries.
• They are responsible for the consolidation of liability accounts and calculation of the Shared Risk IBNR.
• They will prepare all journal entries audit schedules related to MCLA and SNP shared risk journal entries and audit schedules.
• They will be responsible for the accurate updating of all related month end reports.
• They will prepare all necessary shared risk reporting for contracted Participating Provider Groups(PPG) performance for the MCLA and SNP product lines of business.
• Will follow CMS guidelines to calculate and prepare documentation for SNP broker commissions.
• Will meet contractual requirements to calculate and reconcile the ADHC care coordinator contracts.
• Interfaces and serves as liaison with multiple departments.

• Must have strong accounting skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and excellent database skills
• Medi-Cal, Medicare and MHC knowledge preferred.
• Must have a Bachelors in Business Administration or Finance with knowledge of strong accounting principles
• CPA preferred, and a minimum of 4-8 years HMO experience.
• Must have strong HMO Health Care industry knowledge.
