A Major investment bank based in central London is looking for a Internal Audit Lead to join their central internal audit team on an initial 6 month basis. The contract can offer £ based on level of experience/skills.
As Audit Leader, the successful candidate will conduct and document audits as part of the Global Anti-Money Laundering and Regulatory Compliance audit team, focused on the control environment design and effectiveness for ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements.
Responsible for the planning, delivering, documenting and reporting of audit results to business Management. The Audit lead operates under general supervision by the Audit managers to confirm the scope of the audit and to devise an appropriate testing approach.
Experience needed
Experience managing and delivering auditing procedures of the highest standard across and variety of risk areas in the financial services industry. Experience improving process and risk management practises.
Knowledge and skills required:
*Excellent knowledge of audit procedures and standards.
*Good knowledge of regulatory compliance topics including Anti-Money Laundering, UCITS, Privacy, etc. and auditing techniques.
*Desired Professional Qualifications include ACA, ACCA, IIA, CAMS or similar
*Knowledge of corporate policies and procedures that relate to auditing/accounting standards and analytical skills are necessary to prepare audits.
*Knowledge of the operations, functions, and objectives of financial services as well as regulatory compliance impact.
