Description
Due to an imminent contract award, our client, a leading European design consultancy, is seeking a number of CAD Technicians join an established, but growing team.Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to.
- Produce CAD drawings using design packages ensuring all CAD outputs are subject to appropriate quality checks.
- Support and help to improve the existing CAD system
- Work closely with the CAD Manager to develop ideas and drive efficiencies.
- Provide design development support to design teams
- Undertake site survey work, gathering data and information as required
- Detailed analysis of surveys and reports
- Work to with the project team in the preparation and collation of schedules, reports and survey data
- Prepare calculations using the pre agreed formulae and design criteria.
- Previous experience of the preparation of drawings in accordance with British Standards and Eurocodes
- Good knowledge of Autocad, Civils 3D or Mx.
HND/HNC or equivalent

- Efficient verbal and written communication skills
- Proven CAD Experience
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Demonstrate a good understanding understand Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to produce clear and concise documentation
