Description

Job Summary
The PPC Presales Consultant is responsible for coordinating Pay-Per-Click (PPC) media strategies between the outside sales team and the PPC fulfillment team. Operating in a dynamic team environment, this individual must quickly understand and be able to communicate initiatives requested from the sales team on behalf of high spend national and regional clients with a white glove level of customer support.
Essential Job Functions
  • Analyze advertiser margin, objectives, services, geos, CPL/KPI requests and monthly spend requests to determine initial program eligibility
  • Communicate the SEM product best practices and product/business requirements to sales in order to support pre-sales, post-sales and campaign performance success
  • Engage with PPC analyst team as a pre-fulfillment consultant and communicate objectives to other parties during initial onboarding stage of campaign set-up
  • Field questions and facilitate education on the product to sales with process, technical and product inquiries
  • Field all consultation calls with sales prior to item being keyed but once it is sold to ensure expectation consistency with sales, client, PPC fulfillment team and AM's
  • Expedite campaign brief requests and consultation calls that are requested by sales last minute
  • Understand and communicate the results and relationship of each statistic encompassed in the campaign brief estimates and report directly to sales personnel and in client-facing situations
  • Communicate Real Time previous campaign data for specific vertical markets to both sales and advertisers prior to account launch and throughout the presales process
  • Aid sales personnel in decision-making processes prior to item sold that will contribute to the goals and success of clients future campaign(s)
  • Troubleshoot estimate intake issues and problem solve when necessary to maximize account and sales retention and aid in high performance level accounts being on boarded

SKILLS:

Requirements
  • 1-2 years experience working directly in or with sales in Google AdWords, Bing, Yahoo and/or other PPC advertising situations
  • Proficiency in maintaining product and business requirements for the campaign brief estimates requested and communicating to sales accordingly
  • Significant telephone customer service experience speaking directly with high touch accounts in a presales, sales and technical environment
  • Experience with evaluating basic technical analysis of website (current/live), call/form fill tracking, CRO/design
  • Experience with current PPC trends, market influences, keyword vs CPL/CPC/KPI relationship etc.
  • Proficiency in onboarding large scale PPC accounts in a variety of different industry verticals
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Other Skills/Abilities
  • Experience with CRMs such as Salesforce and other business related software a plus
  • Experience with Keyword Planner tool and other keyword research tools
